Bodyboard brands
Bodyboard Center brings together here the bodyboard brands it stocks, from boards and fins to leashes, bags and clothing. Each brand has its speciality: boards for hollow waves, fins or accessories. Here is how to find your way before choosing your equipment.
Bodyboard brands for boards
Founded in 1999 in Biarritz, Pride set out to put European bodyboarding on the world stage, and Pride bodyboards are complemented by leashes, bags and clothing. Born on Australian beaches, Stealth offers PP and PE boards, to discover among the Stealth bodyboards alongside its fins. Australian rider Ryan Hardy signs the Hardy Shapes bodyboards, designed for powerful waves. Hexaboards bodyboards replace the stringer with a honeycomb internal structure, with models such as the Alien and the Predator.
Other names come back as stock is replenished. Founded by Nick Mesritz, NMD is a global reference, to follow in the NMD bodyboards in our catalogue. Versus, also known as VS, focuses on responsive boards, to be found among the Versus bodyboards with their Kinetic core. A pioneer of the sport with its Mach models, Morey made bodyboarding accessible to all, and Morey bodyboards remain easy to ride. Turbo, founded in 1983 in Hawaii, completes this selection.
Bodyboard brands that specialise in fins
Choosing among the bodyboard brands that specialise in fins lets you match power and comfort to your riding. Designed in Hawaii, DaFiN fins are a favourite with schools and clubs. Born in California, Yucca fins come in several stiffnesses. Founded in Europe, Vulcan offers Vulcan fins in V1, V2 and V3. Orca fins focus on quick response and stability.
Leashes, bags and wetsuits: the other bodyboard brands
An Australian brand, Thrash is renowned for its leashes, and Thrash leashes and bags cover everyday use as well as travel. For neoprene, Nymph wetsuits are designed around the bodyboarder's position. For the beach, Sand Cloud towels come from San Diego and WAW handplanes are aimed at bodysurfing fans.

Frequently asked questions about bodyboard brands
What is the best bodyboard brand?
There is no best brand in absolute terms: it all depends on what you are looking for. For boards, Pride covers the whole range, from PE for beginners to PP for committed riding, while Hardy Shapes and Hexaboards target powerful waves. For fins, DaFiN, Vulcan, Yucca and Orca cover needs from beginner to experienced rider. The foam and the size of the board matter more than the name on the deck.
Are there any French bodyboard brands?
Yes. Pride was founded in 1999 in Biarritz with the aim of taking European bodyboarding to the world stage.
Should your board and fins be from the same brand?
No. A board is chosen on its foam, shape and size, fins on their shape, stiffness and fit. Many riders pair a board from one brand with fins from another.
Why do some brands have no products online at the moment?
Our stock follows the brands' deliveries. Brands with no product available are still listed here, as they come back with each restock.
