Built for high-performance surfing in all conditions, this board delivers the perfect blend of hold, speed, and instant release.

Core & Construction

The board is powered by a Kinetic 1.9 lb Polypropylene PP core, constructed from premium-grade PP foam through a high-pressure cell-fusion process during manufacturing. This delivers exceptional projection, fast response, and outstanding compression resistance. The Kinetic Core is a warm-water core available in various reinforcement configurations, each tuned for specific wave conditions.

X4 MiniQuad Concave

The AKU CNC-shaped X4 MiniQuad Concave with parallel channels is the defining feature of this board. Designed to hold tight when driving off the tail, it releases instantly for super-quick transitions — making it ideal for fast, precise surfing on the open face and through the bottom turn.

Structural Reinforcement

A single CFT stringer — a high-grade, lightweight filament-wound composite fibre tube — runs through the board, providing increased strength and spring-like recoil without adding unnecessary weight. A React Mesh diamond-shaped weave is fused between the core and slick bottom skin for enhanced stiffness and snap.

Deck & Slick

The WaveCushion Air 8 lb PE deck with Q12 backing offers a premium riding surface. The Q12 high-density crosslinked PP foam backing delivers more resilient nose and tail seam fusion and increases overall board strength. The DuPont Surlyn slick provides the finest grade bottom skin available — known for its rubber-like properties, superior recoil, and exceptional resistance to scratching and wear, the same material used in golf balls.
