BODYBOARD SWIMFINS DAFIN ZAK NOYLE WAWAMALU

Born from a collaboration between DaFin Hawaii, photographer Zak Noyle, and the Sandy Beach Surf Report, this limited edition pays tribute to Wāwāmalu (Sandy Beach), one of the most iconic and intense surf spots on O‘ahu.

Created in 2020 by Tyler Watanabe, the Sandy Beach Surf Report was launched to keep the local community connected and informed about surf conditions. A true Wāwāmalu enthusiast, Tyler has been surfing this powerful break for over 25 years. Through his videos and reports—often humorous and always authentic—he has captured the essence of the beach, building a following that now spans the globe. For Tyler and many locals, Sandy Beach is more than just a surf spot; it’s a way of life.

To give back to the community that helped the Sandy Beach Surf Report grow, DaFin and Zak Noyle teamed up to create a unique model dedicated to the lifeguards, young bodyboarders, and locals who embody the spirit of Wāwāmalu every day.
