At Bodyboard Center, a dedicated 100% bodyboard shop, you'll find every bodyboard leash from the best brands, from the basic model to the pro version. An essential accessory, the leash connects your board to your arm and stops you losing it after every wipeout, for your safety and that of other riders.

Our range covers every level and budget, with or without an anchor plug. The right choice depends mainly on the attachment type and the quality of the cord.

Wrist leash or bicep leash

There are two fittings: the wrist leash attaches around the wrist, the bicep leash at the top of the arm, depending on the control you want. The wrist option gives direct control of the board, favoured by beginners and in gentle waves. The bicep frees up arm movement and remains the choice of experienced riders, especially in drop knee and powerful surf. Both come in a coiled-cord version to limit drag in the water.

Choosing the right bodyboard leash

A good leash combines a strong cord and rust-free stainless steel swivels, with a comfortable neoprene strap. The anti-twist swivel keeps the cord from tangling, and a quality plug ensures a durable fixing to the board. For younger riders, kids' models offer a suitable length and fit.

The leading bodyboard leash brands

We stock the references of the market: Pride, Dakine, NMD, Versus (VS), Sniper, Creatures of Leisure and FCS. From the entry-level leash to the pro signature model, each brand has its signature to match your riding and your budget.

To complete your setup, think about your bodyboard, the fins you need at take-off, a boardbag to protect your gear and the right wetsuit for the water temperature. All our bodyboard leashes ship quickly across Europe.

Choose your bodyboarding leash in a wide array of leashes

The bodyboarding leash is a must-have in any conditions. It ties your biceps (we call these biceps leashes) or your wrist (we call these wrist leashes) to the plug of your bodyboard, which is plug most commonly in the top part of your bodyboard. Our range includes a wide array of leashes from the most basic ones to the very best ones in order to suit anyone’s needs and budgets, from beginner to expert, and most importantly any conditions of surf.
Feel free to contact us for more information about the bodyboard leash plug placement, or if you’re hesitating between a bodyboard wrist or biceps leash. We usually recommend to use biceps leashes for those who love the big stuff, nonetheless, chargers like Chris James never paddle out without their wrist leash.
